10 rules on “How to be environmentally friendly!”

On local, national and international level

1) Prefer public transports to your car, use the bicycle, if you can: you will reduce CO2 emissions and you will give your contribution to the fight against the greenhouse effects.

2) Use cotton, hemp or recycled paper shopping bags: since 1 January 2011, plastic shopping bags are forbidden.

3) Buy cleaners, legumes and cereals on draft: you will reduce the production of waste and disposal costs.

4) Buy products with less packaging as possible!

5) Buy only fruit and vegetables from a farmer: you will eat safer delicious food, and, most of all, you will help your country’s economy: you will reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

6) Lay your laundry in the sun, try to avoid the dryer. The dryer is one of the most electric consumers ever.

7) Use washable nappies: you will avoid the production of a large amount of non-biodegradable waste. Reuse objects as far as possible!

8) Don’t use disposable products!

9) Repair items in order to lengthen their existence.

10) Recover waste materials and create new objects.

Dear Luis,
I would like to thank you for all you and your colleagues did for us. The visit was very well organised and my students all enjoyed the stay tremendously. On behalf of myself, Ada, Malgosia and Marta I would like to express my appreciation for your devotion and friendliness. Thank you for the time you spent with us. The host families were fantastic and our students and teachers will have wonderful memories. We had a great opportunity to learn more about your culture and admire the beautiful city of Dos Hermanas and Seville. Please, send our hugs to our Spanish friends, both teachers and students.
Pawel

Hi!
My dream has come true thanks to Comenius Project.
I was in Spain, where I made many new friends. I'm really happy that I could take part in this project. It was the best adventure of my life. I see only advantages of participating in Comenius Project. The first and the biggest plus all of this is that during the visit in Spain I could break the language barrier. Secondly I could visit ineresting places. The next one is that I learnt about another culture and HAVE A GOOD TIME. I'm sure, that I will never forget this experience!
Kasia

Spain is awesome.
I’ve just come back from warm Spain, where I had a great time. I took part in a Comenius project. Together with my friends from Poland, I met a lot of friendly and kind people. They were for us like a family. We had a chance to go to different places every day. We were in Seville and Donana National Park. The capital of Andalusia is really beautiful, with a lot of amazing monuments to see. At school we talked to many students and we practiced our English language skills. We shared ideas about how to be environment friendly. We also took a lot of photos. I’d like to thank Joaquin and his family for being my host family. You were very friendly and helpful and I will always remember this wonderful week. One day I’d like to come back to Spain and meet all my friends as well as visit the places again.
Kamil

Firstly I'd like to thank a lot to everyone, especially to the people from Comenius project and my host family. It was really great to be with you. This visit has helped me  to improve my English skills and encourage me to learn Spanish, English and generally foreign languages. It is worth learning them. Dos Hermanas, Seville and all Spain are so beautiful. It was the first time I had seen orange trees. The atmosphere was unforgettable. We integrated a lot of with everyone.
Ola

I’m very happy that I could go to Spain. This country is interesting, has a lot of wonderful places and positive people. I met cheerful, nice, awesome and very friendly people. I promise – I will never forget you. I have a lot of fantastic memories. The Comenius project showed me another culture, exotic cuisine and helped me practise my English. My host family in Spain showed me how Spanish people live. Thank you very much for letting me have such a wonderful time.
Maciek
